Started the day in Fairport Harbor but had no luck spotting a snowy owl.
Late in the day in the Conneaut harbor we spotted:
Common Mergansers
Hooded Mergansers
Red-breasted Mergansers
Buffleheads
Lesser back gull
A tundra swan
Great blue Herron
Common golden eye
Coots
From the bluffs we scoped for the snowy owl. The lighting was not conducive and distance was greater than are optics to identify an owl if one was present.
