Larry Jeanblanc, Julie Karlson, and I found what we think is a Green-winged
Teal x Gadwall hybrid at Old Reid Park near Springfield, Ohio on Sunday
morning. I have posted some pictures at www.clarkcountyohioaudubon.org. I
would appreciate any comments on this bird. We counted about 116 Gadwalls on
the ponds in Old Reid Park and several Northern Shovelers. This has been a
great spot for these two species for several years now.
