I lucked into one of those wonderfully unpredictable gull concentrations at Oberlin Reservoir, this morning. There are two small leads in the ice around which the birds were gathered. Highlights:
Great Black-backed 15
Lesser Black-backed 5 3 ad, 2nd, 1st
Iceland 3 ad, 2 1st
Thayer's 1 1st
Glaucous 1 2nd
Birds continue to come and go.
