It is presently 10:35AM Tuesday morning. Saturday's Columbiana County reported Red-necked Grebe is still here at the same location on the east end of the lake.
The beautiful, near breeding plumage visitor, can easily be seen; a spotting scope is obviously helpful. Some of the other birds of interest are, numerous Chimney Swifts, my first of the year; a tight raft of six breeding plumage Common Loons; 195+ Ruddy Ducks, Cliff Swallows, and Bonaparte's Gulls, just to name a few.
Bob Lane / Mahoning County
