Wednesday, Sept. 17 - 8:45 - 10:15 a.m.
Water is disappearing, but we still had a good variety of shorebirds this
morning. The highlight of our day was the water pipit--up close and
personal with the scope. Species seen:
Bald eagles - 1 ad, 1 imm
American avocet - 1
Lesser yellowlegs
Greater yellowlegs
Semipalmated sps
Least sps
Pectoral sp
Solitary sp
Killeers
Great blue herons - over 100
Great egrets - 14
Ring-billed gulls
Mallards
Water pipit
Good birding,
