WOW !!! What a day to be a birder and retired.
To quote Ray Hannikman " it's raining Golden-crowned Kinglets". We had at least 200 in our view at any one time .
The Wake Robin Boardwalk was just as good with sparrows.
5 Nelson's Sparrows
1 Henslow's Sparrow
5 Savannah Sparrows
6 Lincoln's Sparrows
2 Field Sparrows
Many Swamp, Song, White-throated and White-crowned Sparrows.
I found a Dickcissel just before it rained this morning and it was still there when Ray and I departed at 4pm.
