I birded the Mahoning R. from Struthers to Lowellville (Mahoning Co.) today, and had decent luck. Waterfowl found were: Canada geese, 66 mallards, 8 Am. black ducks, canvasback, 19 ring-necked ducks, greater scaup, lesser scaup, 3 buffleheads, and 2 hooded mergansers (a low number for the location). No c. goldeneyes was unusual, also. Craig Holt, Lowellville
