So I decided to leave the windows open last night to enjoy some fresh air.
In the middle of the night I began to hear Barred Owl calls. It was every
version of every call. It was from multiple locations. I can't imagine what
a person who didn't realize what that was would think. It lasted for about
30 to 45 minutes. I have a Barred Owl box in the woods but I didn't think
it was active. Hopefully it is. I have regularly head them, but nothing
like that. It was worth being woke up for!
