Julie Karlson and I saw an interesting gull on the beach at Buck Creek State
Park on October 6. I have posted a couple pictures of it on the Clark County
Audubon website www.clarkcountyohioaudubon.org. It was a first year bird
about the size of a Herring Gull. When I saw it, it just looked darker on
the back than I would usually see on a Herring Gull. I would be interested
in any comments on this bird.
Thanks,
Doug Overacker
