An immature Red-Tailed Hawk has been watching the birds and squirrels by our feeder in Novelty for over 4 hours now. At one point, a black squirrel walked along the same branch that the hawk was on (only 4 feet away). I've never seen a hawk sit so close to our house that long before. He's watching all the birds and squirrels but hasn't made a move toward them yet.
