It's noon, and I've been watching lake Erie at osbourne park in Willoughby for the past 20 minutes. Quite a few gulls moving west along shoreline, a few red-breasted mergs but there are also 6 to 8 dark ducks which suggest scoters sitting in the surf. My binoculars won't give me enough info and I flunked using a scope so if anyone is in the area and wants to check, I'd be interested to know what they think.
