Geoff Steele called me yesterday to report pelicans at Buck Creek State
Park. Julie and I went out this morning and saw six of them at the north end
of the lake. The access is off Grant Road near the north end of the road. We
also saw geese and gulls but the only ducks we saw were a few Mallards that
flew over. The weather was light snow and wind, so not the best viewing
conditions. There was a Bald Eagle sitting on the far shore of the lake.
