I didnt need for the big year. I had that flock at Cowan Lake in Clinton County
this past winter. But I was planning on hitting here anyway. Not too many spots
around lately for shorebirds with the lack of rain. Just Killdeer for me here this
afternoon. Not much passerines for me the past several days. Or swallows!
The Pelican was a county bird though. I enjoy county listing also. Hamilton is
getting close to 200.
Tues. I think a RB Nuthatch quest. For some reason that is a difficult species
for me. My older hearing doesn't help.....
Butterfly notes - my garden is loaded with Sachems.
Good birding all.
