I started out in the morning at Denison and then went to Batelle Darby hoping that I might see the golden wing warbler and also for change of scenery. Denison wasn’t bursting with activity but I did pick up 8 warbler species incl another (or same) Prairie and a FOS Palm. Nice find was a female Scarlet Tanager. I also saw a Brown Thrasher, Eastern Phoebe and a few Swainsons thrushes (also at BD).
I dipped on the Golden-winged at BD but ran into a birder who had heard it but did not see it despite trying to tape it out.
I added a couple warbler species there so I had 10 for the day.
Interesting was one each of E Phoebe, Peewee and Great-crested FC all flycatching near one another at Battelle Darby.
