I managed a good scan here before the rain hit.
52 Pecs
10 Killdeer
2 Greater Yellowlegs
2 Caspian Terns Foy for me also.
Place is looking very good for shorebirds still. All the rain must be running
Off somewhere.
Then it was find areas out of the heavy rain. Cowan lake was good with swallows,
BW Teal, Wood Ducks, etc.
I had my Foy Osprey as I drove.
I was going to hit Lost Bridge in the afternoon. But heard about the
Purple Gallinule in Highland. I chased. No success! I'll chase again
If reported Tuesday.
Good birding all.
