I figure it’s gull and waterfowl time - more gulls there than I have seen in awhile.
Bonies and RB. Hardly any waterfowl though! I am sure that will change with the
Big freeze coming soon. More passerines in the roadside weedy areas than I
Usually see. They must know the weathers changing.
I was going to hit Highland county - Monday, but was sidetracked by a Harris's
Sparrow in Boone Kentucky. I was only a couple miles from my house when I
Got the alert, so changed directions! Alas, I could not relocate the bird. But stuff
Is around! Always good to get out and explore.
I might try again Wed for the Harris's. Or Oxbow, Indiana. I hit there briefly today.
Looks really good for a lot of species! Or I might hit Highland county Wed.
So many areas….. I love it!
Good birding all.
