No success with the RT Loon found earlier this morning by Austin.
Probably still there. Waterfowl was mainly in the center of the lake.
Annoyingly. Like East Fork - far.

Lots around - Common Loon, Bufflehead, RB Merg, Scaup - probably
Mostly Lesser. Mallard, Gadwall, pied billed and Horned Grebe, Redhead.
I missed the GW Teal. And RT Loon. Ruddy Ducks, pintail.

I had the pleasure of birding a bit with Austin in the late afternoon
There. He was explaining the ins and outs of visibility there. Water
Temps, etc.

Again, I am hitting places I probably won't get to much next year.
Which is my Butler big year. And botany.

Good birding all. A warm up is coming. Thankfully.
