In the upgrade to MAIL last Sunday, there was a small change made to the
way MAIL handles replies and forwards. In the previous version, the cursor
was left at the top of the message when forwarding messages and left at the
bottom of the message when replying to messages.
In the new version of MAIL, this was made more consistant by always placing
the cursor at the top of the message. Unfortunately, this change was
inadvertently left out of the MAIL announcement.
Some people have expressed a desire to have the cursor start at the bottom
of the message (above the signature). Therefore, adding the following
statement to your LOGIN.COM file should now cause MAIL to place the cursor
at the bottom of the message when replying or forwarding mail:
$ DEFINE MUEDIT_MAIL_START_POSITION BOTTOM
Any value other than BOTTOM will cause MAIL to start the cursor at the
top of the message.
