I'm not flaming ASG in any way; I thought I made that abundantly clear in
my last post. I think you're the one doing most of the flaming here,
calling me jealous and whatnot. I said, to paraphrase, that ASG provided
good services and deserved its space. But *so do other orgs*!

However, I do take offense to, "If your organization provided some nice
services for the Miami Students like ASG...." I asked you not to say that,
but you did anyway. On what grounds are you basing this question? Do you
have _any_ clue what my organizations are? Just because they are not ASG
does not in any way, shape, or form mean they are less important to the
Miami community than ASG. Actually, right now, it so happens that my orgs
are in much better standing with the student body than ASG is (a quick
glance at any of the last 40 issues of The Student will prove that), but
that's not relevant . My point is that any student organization plays a
very important roll, not just the major ones like ASG. I don't think
you'll find one member of any org on campus that will refute this (well,
apparently, there is *one*... in ASG).

It seems to me that you've taken on the roll of a corrupt politician who's
lost touch with the people. ASG is the Associated STUDENT Government. It's
primary role is to serve the *students*, not to downplay their importance.
By basically saying, "ASG is important and needs the space, while your
orgs are trivial and don't deserve any attention," you're going against
the very foundation of ASG. If you were doing as you should, you would be
helping me to get this issue to those who matter, so that it might get
resolved, so that student orgs could create effective and useful sites for
the student body. You also seem to be presenting this as ASG's offical
position; I wonder if Tom and the other senior members of ASG agree?

Allow me to refocus this. Tell me, why *shouldn't* my org be granted more
than 3,000 blocks, when the space will be put to good use? Answer this one
question.

Regards,
Bob
