Urgh.  I'm not familiar with VPI, but that should be inconsequential,
right?  Can you upload to VPI, then ftp to Miami?  Can you put Kermit or
Z-Modem on your local server?  For binaries, can you UUENCODE the file
and do an ASCII upload to a VAX editor?
