Hmmm....
 
I'm not sure what might be causing this.  I can't see a difference on my
terminal.  It is slightly possible, though, that the change I made this
morning to fix the problem with the REPLY command could have sped scrolling
up.
 
BTW, I'm assuming that you're not referring to the time it takes to get
into a newsgroup.  This will definitely be slower because the system has to
transfer the data across the network rather than getting it locally.
