While I never claim to be an expert, the following has worked fine for me:
 
$ miamilink == lynx + " http://www.lib.muohio.edu"
$ web == lynx + " http://phoenix.aps.muohio.edu/~adyonka/"
 
To my understanding, the important part is the space after the leading quote.
