I studied linguistics in the graduate school at the University of 
Pennsylvania, the same place where Chomsky did, (and not long after), and I must say that 
if Johanna Rubba is a "mere" instructor in Linguistics, I wish we had more of 
them.   I doubt that I ever had a teacher better than she is.
