Consider it for advanced placement classes, English majors, and intro linguistics students. Not a workbook. Topics include communication, language, grammar and usage with style as goal for student achievement. An advantage for teachers: Grammar Today does not have to be the classroom text, so teachers and students can use it as guide, sounding board, or cannon fodder. Opinions solicited.
