Erin,
Flash is a very flexible piece of software, but the developers I work with are
hesitant to continue new initiatives with it due to the talk of HTML 5 making it
irrelevant (as it stands now). Many of my developers have already switched to
Silverlight as an alternative to Flash. I still like Flash though, but then
again, I know it and I don't know the others so I'm not objective. Just
something to think about from one educator who likes software in the classroom
to another.
