A friend has passed on an inquiry from a sixth grade teacher about books and
materials for teaching grammar at that level. I don't know the person
originating the request but believe (and hope) she is looking for more than
drills on conventions. I've been retired for five years. Is there anything
current people are recommending for grammar based on sound linguistics and
creative pedagogy?

Thanks.
