Hello, ATEG friends
I've been enjoying this list for some time now and thought I should
introduce myself and ask where to send what so I can get your
newsletter.
I am now teaching ESOL to Puerto Rican middle school children in North
Philadelphia after having taught literature and writing at Moore College
of Art and Design for 22 years. I was retrenched in a fiscal emergency
by artists who wanted to be able to continue to run small studio
classes, so here I am doing what I'm also credentialed to do--but for a
lot more stress and a much higher salary.
I am now sorry that I didn't come to the conference this summer. I was
so stressed from the school year that I didn't want to do much except
read for my own pleasure and education.
I don't have time to write much right now, but if some of you will write
to me, I promise to respond.
Cheers, Connie
