I just thought I'd share this since it gave me a giggle.  

I was discussing the use of the auxiliary comma and why my curriculum teaches its use.  One lady gave this example of why using it can clear up misconceptions:

Consider the possibly apocryphal book dedication quoted by Teresa 
Nielsen Hayden: To my parents, Ayn Rand and God.
