Scott,

Mark Davies at Brigham Young has several free, searchable corpora at http://corpus.byu.edu/. The web site also includes useful information on using the corpora.

Enjoy!

Subject: searchable corpora

Dear Listmates,

I'm looking for searchable corpora, especially of fairly carefully edited language, fiction, history, essays, scientific writing, etc.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Scott Woods
