Just a reminder - meeting for all pre majors and majors in special
education tomorrow, WEDNESDAY, MARCH 12, 5-6:30 in rooms 121/122 in
McGuffey.
This meeting is open to everyone in special education and is come & go as
you please.
We will have a wealth of resources and information for you including:
1.) Ms. Brenda Paget, Special Education Director, Lakota School District
and Ms. Lori Brown, Special Education Director, Talawanda School District -
they will speak about interviewing, what skills and abilities they are
looking for in candidates etc.

2.) MU Career Services education representative to speak about graduate
schools, the GRE, resumes and the Teacher Job Fair, and to answer any and
all questions you have.

3.)  A Transition Specialist from Butler Tech to speak about jobs in
special education outside the classroom.

4.) Four student groups who would love to share information and welcome
your involvement including:
     Student Council for Exceptional Children
     4 Paws for Ability
     Best Buddies
     CAFE (Collaborating and Facilitating Educators)
     (A senior who is a member of Autism Speaks will also be present)

5.) Seniors who can tell you about student teaching, the edTPA and the Ohio
Assessments for Educators, as well as a student who can share her
experiences about student teaching in Belize.

6.) Special education faculty who are there to chat and support you.
