Recent grads - this was forwarded to me and I want to share it:

Hi Craig,

I am now the associate principal of the Upper School of the Children’s Home
in Cincinnati. We are a private school that is attached to a larger
nonprofit mental health agency…we are located right on Madison Road in
Cincinnati…within a few miles of Oakley and Hyde Park square.

We have several positions we are trying to fill, and I was reaching out to
let you know in case there are any recent Miami student athletes who are
still looking for positions. I would also appreciate it if you could
forward the information to the education department.

We are in need of 2 Intervention Specialists (special ed.) for 7-12th grade,
a physical education teacher for K-12th grade, and a “support
teacher”…which is a licensed teacher (7-12) who supports all classrooms…all
four positions are full time positions, and we offer a competitive salary.
We have a great benefit package, and we have a “loan forgiveness” program
to help recent grads get out of college debt.

Our school is designed for students with special educational needs,
behavioral and learning challenges. All students are referred from other
districts and have an IEP.

We work with extremely challenging kids—many of our kids come out of very
tough, inner city neighborhoods-- but it’s very rewarding…I know Miami is
constantly graduating top students who also love to serve their
community…so I’m hoping to spread the word about our agency.

I just hired a new Miami grad(who was also a gymnast) for our Autism
School, and that gave me the idea to reach out to you…our location next to
Oakley Square makes it appealing to younger grads…

Our website is the following…there are other positions opened within our
agency(all jobs are posted under the “career” tab on our website)…but I am
obviously a part of the educational sector.

If there is any interest, you can also forward my email, and I would be
happy to speak to them about what we do.

Hope all is well in the athletic department. I think of all of you
often…and next time you see Paul Moses, please tell him I said hello and
I’m looking forward to this season…

Sincerely,

Mollie Marot
