Happy Thanksgiving! Dr. Weaver is recruiting students who have taken 246A from her and would be interested in working as an undergraduate teaching assistant. Sincerely, Dr. Leah

I'm teaching 246A Fundamentals of Literacy again next semester. The course enrolls both pre- special ed. students and pre- secondary English students.

Since I first taught this course, I have had an undergraduate assistant, but never one from the special ed. field. I think that's because my course time conflicts with a special ed. class they have to take; at least that's the situation for next semester, as I have already approached three students entering SPED next term.

So I got to wondering whether any of the excellent SPED students who took 246A from me last year sometime would be available as well as interested. Next term, my section meets from 11:15 to 1:05, MWF.
