Subject: Loomis Chaffee School Internship Opportunity

Loomis Chaffee Summer Program Faculty Interns

Each summer, the Loomis Chaffee School enrolls 115+ students from around
the globe who will be entering grades 7-12 in the fall of 2016. Last year,
we hired 12 interns and plan to hire that many again this year.

*Date:*June 27 – July 30, 2016
*Location:* The 300-acre campus is located in Windsor, CT,
*Deadline:*See the website <http://www.loomischaffee.org>http://
<http://www.loomischaffee.org>www.loomischaffee.org

*Additional Information:* To help us run the five-week Summer Program, we
seek talented college students who will have just finished their junior or
senior years and want to try a short but intense stint in the world of
education. Ideally, all interns will be at least 21 years old and possess a
valid driver’s license. Each intern will receive a two-day orientation and
will be paired with a master teacher, coach afternoon athletic activities,
supervise a dormitory, and chaperone weekend trips and social events.

For their substantial commitment to the enterprise, the interns will
receive a salary, room and board, and a priceless professional experience
as an integral member of a residential school environment.

All interested candidates should visit our website to learn more. In order
to apply, the prospective Faculty Intern must submit the Faculty Intern
Application Form, two different letters of reference, one of which must be
from an official (professor, administrator, or coach) from his or her
college, a cover letter, a resume, and an official transcript. After
receiving these materials, I will contact selected applicants to schedule
an interview. Please email or call me if you have any questions about our
program.

Thank you. Sincerely,

Jim O’Donnell Director,

Loomis Chaffee Summer Program
