Attention: Early childhood intervention specialists!! The Fairfield school
district is taking over its MRDD sponsored program and has 4 positions open
in early childhood intervention. They will all start in fall, 2005. If you
are just graduating or have graduated recently, these positions might be of

Loan Forgiveness
the US Department of Education announced new changes to teache3r loan
forgiveness programs.  The program provides that math, science, or special
education teachers who teach for 5 years in a Title I school may be eligible
for new loan forgiveness limits signed into law by President Bush.  The
Taxpayer-Teacher Protection Act authorizes up to $17,500 in loan
forgiveness.  It is available to new borrowers (teachers with no outstanding
loan balances prior to Oct 1, 1998, who borrow eligible loans prior to Oct.
1, 2005).
