I don't have anything per se on the National Dry Federation, but in my
dissertation ("Prohibition is Here to Stay: The Rev. Edward S. Shumaker and
the Rise and Fall of Dry Culture in America"), I talk about the Indiana Dry
Federation, which was formed in December 1916 and which at first did not
include the Indiana ASL. However, once the state legislature met in 1917, the
IASL joined the Federation and Shumaker essentially took it over.
