Perhaps a couple of weeks ago (?) someone thoughtfully
distributed some research on early modern European women
and alcohol. I saved the attachment to read later. When I

I am a graduate student working on gender and alcohol
production in early Virginia, Maryland, and Pennsylvania c.
1690-1840, and so am particularly interested in this
author's work.

Sarah Hand Meacham
