didn't have internet at home last night(nor cable - thanks CableVision, it's notlike i am a basketball coach and wanted to watch the NCAA championship or anything!) looking for breeding plumage Grebes today (yesterday)!Anyway - 5:30 CEI water in/outletRBMergs - 100-ish scattered in small groups in open waterBonaparte's Gulls - a few dozen (some showing full dark heads)RBGulls - anly a few over/in water (LOTS in the parking lot) 5:45 west of ICYC (in the dock area)Common Loon - 1 (best look ever at a breeding plumaged CLoonand my first one in the water around Gordon - stunningly beautiful!)ACoots - 14RBGulls - only a few dozen flying about - some on docksDCCorms - 3CGoose - a dozenishMallard - 2 5:55 Gordon Boat LaunchLesser Scaup - 18RBMergs - 30+ACoot - 3Gulls - 50-ish some swimming some flying about (a couple HGullsthe rest RBGulls 6:05 The JACoots - 50+Ring-necked Ducks - 2Buffleheads - 2 buster
