I checked my local section of the Mahoning River again today. No two days are the same there. Seen were: Canada geese, 40 mallards, Am. black duck, 8 ring-necked ducks, lesser scaup, 8 hooded mergansers, 3 common mergansers, 2 red-breasted mergansers, red-tailed hawk, and 2 n. mockingbirds.
