Good afternoon,
Last Friday I wanted to try my luck at Pickerington Ponds once again to see if I could get some better images of the Northern Harriers, who patrol the mashes plus try for the Sandhills.
I saw 1 Sandhill via my bino’s and only once got a glimpse of the NH. I did find a number of Red Tails (4) at all locations including one of the Osprey platform plus a Coopers/Sharp Shin. I did see one American Kestrel working Wright Road. Otherwise nothing out of the ordinary. (I have posted some images of both on my Flickr page https://www.flickr.com/photos/118775923@N05/ and your welcome to visit.
The Marsh areas around the “Duck Blind” where frozen over as was most of the lakes & marshes.
Doug
