Highlights from today in the CLE region:
Bev Walborn found 17 Willets on the beach breakwalls at Huntington Reservation this morning. They were still loafing at 4:30 pm this afternoon.
Leslie Sours reported 23 Willets sitting on the Edgewater Marina boat launch breakwall early this evening.
I found a Clay-colored Sparrow at Erie Street Cemetery this morning. It continued through the evening, along with a smorgasbord of other migrants including Yellow-breasted Chat and Louisiana Waterthrush.
Located a Golden-winged Warbler singing off the deck of Rocky River Nature Center this morning. Phil Chaon had another in the MLK gardens north of University Circle.
Phil Chaon found a Sedge Wren and Prairie Warbler at Cleveland Lakefront Nature Preserve this afternoon.
