While driving home today I drove past the quarry on the west side of the Scioto River south of Home Rd, north of Shawnee Hills and happened to see about a dozen swans in a patch of open water in the quarry. While it would technically be feasible for a vehicle to stop safely along the road, it be have to be some other vehicle than mine. I've been seeing great numbers of Canada Geese further south on open water portion of the Scioto but I haven't seen any reports of Swans around here.
