Twice this autumn I have had groups of redheads at Clear Fork reservoir
that have had a disproportionate number of adult males. The one group of 17
redheads had 5 adult males, the other group of 30, had 6 adult males. Do
adult males have a tendency to stay at Lake Erie, as opposed to inland
lakes. Have other birders observed this tendency?
Good birding,
John Herman
