Greetings -
A short bout of raptor movement between 9 am and 12:30 pm today at the Edgewater-Battery Park hawk watch at Edgewater State Park. Totals: 56 Turkey Vultures, 10 Red-tailed Hawks, 2 Cooper's Hawks. Same as Ryan Steiner reported from Magee, the winds shifted at 12:30 and all movement shut down. Additional sightings: hundreds upon hundreds of blackbirds, 113 Horned Larks, 13 Killdeer, 100+ American Robins, and an Eastern Meadowlark.
Tomorrow's forecast looks great, with temps in the forties early in the morning, rising to 57+ degrees. Winds south at 15-20 mph. Light cloud cover to full sun.
