On Sunday, I was out at Highbanks Metro Park on the Overlook Trail- part of
a group of 4 of us looking for the bald eagles in and around their nest.
Some of the species seen or heard were:
Ovenbird
Field Sparrow
Song Sparrow
Red-Bellied Woodpecker ( many)
Bald Eagle ( 2 adults seen, and maybe the tops of the heads of the eaglets)
Yellow-rumped Warbler
Nature Center
Purple finches ( a pair )
Hairy Woodpecker
Downy " (2 )
et al .
