The winds were very strong today and things started slow. It ended up being
a pretty good day with lots of loons and Caspian terns flying by. Birds of
note were a single black scoter, red-throated loon, and lesser black-backed
gull.
The Eurasian collared dove was seen very early then was not seen the rest of
the day. Another dove of interest today was mourning dove with white
primaries and outer tail feathers and a white throat. It was spectacular in
flight.
