We do feeder watch on the weekends and we too had a very unusual bird at
our heated bird bath. It was a Swainson's thrush; also not to be expected
at this time of year. Today, at the same bird bath, we have had a leucistic
bird. I think it is a robin as the bill size, shape, etc is the same. It
was entirely snow white. Haven't been quick enough to get a picture yet.
This is adjacent to Whetstone Park's Park of Roses in Columbus, on the
northwest edge of the park and maintenance building if anyone goes looking.
