The Limpkin was still around the west end of the Lake this morning. It
seems to favor 2 cattail coves on the west shore, best visible from the 2
dead-end dikes south of Ward Rd. If you don't see it in one cove, walk
out the other dike to view the other cove. 1 immature Little Blue Heron
still present, along with Great Egret & 3 Green Herons, plus a large
flotilla of Wood Ducks.

Made stops at Clear Creek (valley areas), Wahkeena, and Rockmill on the way
back, but nothing terribly unusual. Had Louisiana Waterthrush and Hooded
Warbler at Wahkeena. Loads of Swallowtail butterflies at any stand of
flowering Joe Pye Weed.
