I went to Evergreen Cemetery, just outside of Chagrin Falls, to
search the trees, loaded with cones, in hopes of finding some
crossbills. Nothing. (This cemetery did have white winged crossbills
a few years back when they showed up all around this area.) But,
a nice little flock of some 20 pine siskins was bouncing from treetop
to treetop accompanied by a few chickadees.
