This morning the hummingbird reported Oct 20th was captured, banded, measured, and identified as
a male juvenile Rufous by master bander Tim Tolford as part of the HBRC/Tri-state Hummingbird
Study. He was assisted by Doug Horvath of Germantown MetroPark. The hummer entered the
capture cage to get at the feeder almost immediately after setup at dawn. He did not seem bothered
by all the attention and is still coming to our feeders this afternoon.

The picture album link in the previous post has been expanded to include several pictures taken by
Leanne of the bird and process.
