Saturday, March 9. I had my FOS American Woodcocks displaying in the fields around my home in Clermont County - at least 4 birds, maybe more. Sunday March 10, we saw our FOS Pectoral Sandpiper and Lesser Yellowlegs at Lodge Pond, Fernald, Hamilton County. Add the ubiquitous Killdeer, and I'm up to 4 shorebird species without even trying. Only missing snipe to sweep the early migrants.
